Supervised study takes place Monday to Friday in the school Study hall commencing mid-September.

Study Times

Monday – Tuesday: 4.30pm – 7.00pm.
Wednesday – Friday: 3.45pm – 6.15pm.

All enquiries to the school secretary Tina on 093 24575 or email prescurrylea@gmail.com

Students will receive all details (including cost) shortly after the first term commences.

Two announcements will be made on the intercom for study. One in September and one in December.
Students will pick up an information sheet from outside the secretary’s office. Once the consent form is returned to the secretary’s office with the appropriate fee, a place is secured. Places will be limited to 77 and will work on a “first come, first served” basis after the announcement is made.

Students may be placed on a waiting list. A second centre may have to be set up.

Study will be supervised by staff members who have been garda vetted and have completed all Child Protection training.

It is expected that parents would notify the school if a student is absent or leaving at the break.
Parents will be contacted if a student is missing from study without explanation.
Students are allowed to use the internet for homework purposes only with the permission of the supervisor on duty.

All other details are available on the information sheet mentioned above.

Saturday study will only be offered if there are a minimum of 25 students and will run for 3 hours at an additional cost.
